Dillinger Escape Plan Frontman Disses Disturbed
Puciato “There’s a new Disturbed song called 'Hell.' Never has a level of irony been so high. Band name=fanbase. Song=where I’d rather be than hear it.” Ouch, such a strong opinion in 140 characters.
'Hell' is the first single from Disturbed's upcoming B-sides album, 'The Lost Children,' which drop Nov. 8.
On a lighter note, there was much love shown from Dillinger Escape plan, via Twitter from guitarist Ben Weinman and former Jane's Addiction bassist Eric Avery, who are part of a supergroup with members of Mastodon and more.
After a writing session for the new project, Weinman tweeted “Thanks @ericavery for being 1 of the most interesting people, both musically and otherwise, I have had the pleasure to create with.”
Avery reciprocated the the admiration by tweeting back, “Thanks b weinman for getting me in touch with the little inner prog rocker whos been lying dormant in me since my deeply stoned early teens.”
There's probably no chance this new supergroup will cover any Disturbed songs.
